WHY?
CBD Isolate is CBD in its purest form. Isolate is produced by removing all other materials found in the hemp plant and by singularly extracting CBD and isolating it from all other compounds. CBD alone has many uses and is now the only other cannabinoid besides THC being regulated in California for human and animal consumption beginning in October of 2021.
Full and broad-spectrum oil, however, can contain over 500 different compounds found in the hemp plant, including different terpenes, essential oils and cannabinoids, all of which may cause different effects when ingested.
DID YOU KNOW?
There are over 400 different strains (types) of hemp, each varying in potency and the compounds they contain. This includes up-to 113 different cannabinoids and over 200 different terpenes, many of which have unknown effects/uses for animals, and some of which may cause your pet to feel uncomfortable or sedated. Since many of these compounds are not yet being regulated for animal consumption, or even listed on the packaging, - the affects you might get from one full spectrum product vs the next might be extremely different. At Holistic Tails, we only use pure CBD Isolate - because it works great and has consistent effects.
